Art exhibitions are over for the year, but the work for art and ecology is continuous. The birdhouses in Nakonlinna (Timo Vartiainen) and The Lupe (Sikke Kiviranta) will stay to delight passers-by, encouraging people to keep observing Halikonlahti also in the winter-time. The flowering art pieces in Salo city centre (Terje Nicolaisen and Pekka Nevalainen) and in Halikko (Tuulia Rivasto and Liisi Huotari) will blossom till the end of the warm season. So will The Secret Forest (Satu-Maaria Mäkipuro) keep growing. Marjukka Korhonen and Sari Poijärvi continue work with Crime Scene Warm compliments to all the artists and collaborators. The multidisciplinary event Halikonlahti Green Art for art and ecology proved successful. The event attracted media and interest in both artists and public for its societal perspectives. The objective of the three-year-Trilogia is to contribute nature conservation and teach people ability to read environment. The theme of the first phase, observation of the environment, will be followed by water in 2008, which will be further developed in the concluding year 2010.
