October 2007 - Baltic Sea, Sweden Greenpeace activists try to prevent the ship ‘Atlantic Osprey’ from leaving Sweden with nuclear waste. January 2006 - Southern Ocean, activists in the inflatables from the Greenpeace ships try to hinder the transfer of minke whales by a catcher ship of the Japanese whaling fleet to the Nisshin Maru factory ship.

FLOATING SCHOOL is a concept of art and environmental education, a movable research unit in flux,
a school anchored in the region linked to our earth, environment, ecology and sustainability. Art in Action based projects will flow together with Floating School travelling exhibitions for schools, libraries, festivals,
proactive workshops and happenings etc. as substratum for new environmental art. Floating School has been co-producer for WATERWAYS.
